Manage Volunteers

Here you can manage the following volunteer-related tasks:
  1. Preferred tasks
  2. Availability
  3. Points & rules
  4. Basic settings

What can I do with:

Preferred Tasks

  1. Add or remove a preferred task for all members or a selection of members, also using “Person Selections”. Select the task to be added or removed as a “Preferred task”. Apply this to “All members” or a “Person Selection” and choose the action type “Add” or “Remove”. Then activate the button “Show selection”.
  2. The conditions for the selected “Preferred task” will be displayed. The overview of the requested people will be shown. Based on the conditions, it will be indicated whether a volunteer meets the task conditions. means: Does not meet task conditions.
  3. Select the volunteers to be added or removed using the checkboxes on the left of the rows, or select and deselect the entire group via the checkbox above the line. means: Not selected. means: Selected.
  4. When selecting one or more volunteers, or all volunteers, a blue bar will appear at the bottom of the screen. It will show on the left side how many volunteers are selected. On the right side, activate the button for adding or removing the preference task.

Availability

  1. Adjust availability for all members or a selection of members, also using “Person Selections”. Select the weekdays when volunteers should be available. Set a “From” and “To” time range within which the volunteers should be available. Then activate the button “Show selection”.
  2. Select the volunteers to be added or removed using the checkboxes on the left of the rows, or select and deselect the entire group via the checkbox above the line. means: Not selected. means: Selected.
  3. When selecting one or more volunteers, or all volunteers, a blue bar will appear at the bottom of the screen. It will show on the left side how many volunteers are selected. On the right side, activate the button to adjust availability.

Points & rules

  1. Adjust the number of required points to be earned and/or set an arrangement (Exempt or Paid off) for a selection of members, also using “Person Selections”. Select the period for which the adjustment applies. Select a group of members or a “Person Selection”. Set an arrangement and/or enter a number of points. Then activate the button “Show selection”.
  2. Select the volunteers to be adjusted using the checkboxes on the left of the rows, or select and deselect the entire group via the checkbox above the line. means: Not selected. means: Selected.
  3. When selecting one or more volunteers, or all volunteers, a blue bar will appear at the bottom of the screen. It will show on the left side how many volunteers are selected. On the right side, activate the button to adjust the points or set the arrangement.

Basic Settings

  1. Mandatory points for new persons
    1. Activate the button “Apply to existing persons” to adjust the required points to be earned for existing individuals.
    2. Activate the button “Edit” to adjust the required points to be earned or set what will automatically be recorded upon registration of individuals.
  2. Basic Settings for New Tasks
    1. Activate the button “Edit” to set the basic settings for creating new volunteer tasks. After creating a task, these settings can be adjusted again within the task details.
